Not only with the space itself, but with the people who call it home. Their story. Passions. The places that have shaped them. Their aesthetic. The quiet details that often go unnoticed, yet are deeply felt.
Together, these nuances form the bones of the piece, allowing each work to feel inseparable from its muse.
Attuned to the rhythm of light as it moves throughout the day, intentional palette, texture, scale, and material are thoughtfully considered as the work begins to take shape. The relationship between architecture, atmosphere, and the people within it is held throughout the creative process.
The work doesn't exist simply to fill space on a wall. It belongs. Offering a sense of completeness.
Settling naturally into its surroundings and continuing to unfold with time. Quietly inseparable from the home and the people for whom it was created.

BEFORE WE BEGIN
Each commission is individually considered, from scale and material to placement and installation.
A limited number of private commissions are accepted each season to allow each work the time and consideration it requires.

PAYMENT & PRICING
Each commission is individually quoted according to scale, materials, complexity, and project scope
.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon proposal acceptance to reserve the commission and begin the work. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, prior to delivery or installation.
Commissioned works are generally completed within 8–12 weeks from the start date. Timing may vary depending on scale, materials, fabrication, and project scope, with an estimated completion window outlined in your proposal.
The creative direction is established collaboratively before the work begins. From there, the work is entrusted to the artist through completion.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
Delivery and installation are considered individually based on the scale, location, and requirements of each commission.
Shipping, delivery, and installation are quoted separately and are not included in the price of the work. Insured domestic and international shipping, fine art transportation, local delivery, and professional installation can be arranged as required.
All applicable costs and arrangements are outlined prior to beginning the commission.
TRADE & DESIGNERS
Amanda Cruz Atelier welcomes collaborations with interior designers, architects, art consultants, and hospitality projects.
Original works and private commissions can be considered in relation to a larger design vision, with custom sizing, palette consultation, placement guidance, and site-specific work available.
Trade inquiries and project-specific requests and professional terms are considered individually.
DESTINATION COMMISSIONS
For select projects, the commission experience extends beyond the studio.
Destination Commissions are created through a private 2–4 week residency, beginning with an in-home consultation and study of the space, architecture, light, and surrounding environment. The work is then created on location, allowing the atmosphere of place to become part of the process itself.
The residency concludes with final placement and installation of the work within the space for which it was conceived.
